    Product Introduction

    This instrument is designed for the measurement and analysis of leakage current in zinc oxide surge arresters (MOA). It is primarily used to measure resistive current in order to assess the degree of aging and moisture ingress of the zinc oxide elements. The on-site live testing complies with the requirements of the People's Republic of China power industry standard DL474.5-92 – Field Insulation Test Implementation Guide – Arrester Test. Additionally, the instrument can also be used in laboratory settings for factory and acceptance testing.
